Ensemble Pour Nos Jeunes

Welcome to the academic support page of Quebec Board of Black Educators (QBBE) for the Ensemble Pour Nos Jeunes (EPNJ) a project of the Afro Youth Summit.  We collaborate with them in this project to ensure your success. This page will serve as a platform to communicate with you.

The QBBE uses the Google Classroom platform for its teaching and email addresses will be generated in the format lastname.firstname@students.qbbe.ca for each participant.  The invitation you will receive must be accepted to access our platform and services.  For those of you who are not familiar with Google Classroom, we are planning a virtual training session to accompany you.  A video is also available on Google Classroom to view on how to use our platform. To enter your data to establish your personal profile click on the link below.  Your data will be confidential and used only for the EPNJ project. Once you have finished entering your data, you will be directed to another page to schedule a 15-to-20-minute one-on-one meeting with us to finalize your profile and to develop an individualized academic support plan. The time slot where you can schedule this meeting is on a first-come, first-served basis.

To begin the academic support, we offer a preliminary schedule of Mondays and Wednesdays during the week and every other Saturdays for the weekends.  Saturday classes will be hybrid (distance and face-to-face) if some of you prefer it.  Our office address is 5165 Sherbrooke st. West, Suite 317, Montreal H4A 1T6. It is located at the corner of Sherbrooke and Vendôme streets, one block from the Vendôme metro station.

The proposed preliminary schedule is as follows; it will be modified after consultation with the participants for their availability.

Classes will start on the week of December 12th and the link for the first virtual meeting will be on your Google Classroom platform. All you have to do is click on join on the left side of your screen to join the virtual classroom.
